Century Farm & Nursery Edible Container Gardens and More
About Us
Most people thought we were crazy when we "bought the farm" back in 2001. After all, it was abandoned for decades and it was difficult to see through the rampant blackberry vines and complete shambles to imagine what could be. Today, while it's still a work in progress, Century Farm is beginning to return to its former glory and is once again thriving and loved by the family that lives here.
The greenhouse is part of the natural progression in our lives. For years, Melissa gardened and raised healthy vegetables to nurture their young family. As the children grew older, the vision of a business where she could share her passion for creating edible works of art began to take shape. The beautiful hanging gardens of Century Farm are the result, combining fresh flavor with the vibrant colors and textures of heirloom salad greens.
